Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of business continuity and disaster recovery, providing guidance and support to the organization.We are seeking candidates with a strong understanding of business continuity principles and best practices, as well as experience in developing and implementing business continuity plans. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will be working with various stakeholders to ensure the organization's preparedness for potential disruptions. A degree in business, risk management, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as CBCP or MBCI.   1. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's operations.
  2. Develop and maintain business continuity plans to ensure the organization's ability to continue operations during and after a disruptive event.
  3. Work closely with various departments to understand their critical functions and develop personalized continuity plans for their operations.
  4. Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
  5. Regularly test and update business continuity plans to ensure their effectiveness.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on business continuity and disaster recovery, providing guidance and support to the organization.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in business continuity and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Train and educate employees on their roles and responsibilities in a business continuity plan.
  9. Coordinate and facilitate drills and exercises to test the organization's preparedness for potential disruptions.
  10. Monitor and report on the organization's business continuity metrics and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  11. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure their business continuity plans align with the organization's.
  12. Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and response efforts.
  13. Communicate with key stakeholders and senior leadership on the status of business continuity plans and any potential risks or disruptions.
  14. Conduct post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  15. Maintain documentation and records related to business continuity plans and activities.
  16. Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and audit teams on business continuity-related matters.
  17. Conduct training and awareness sessions to ensure a culture of business continuity within the organization.
  18. Continuously assess and improve the organization's readiness for potential disruptions.
  19. Represent the organization in business continuity-related conferences and events.
  20. Support the organization's overall risk management efforts by identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Business Continuity Planning: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Business Continuity Plans, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements Related To Business Continuity, Such As Fdic, Occ, And Ffiec Guidelines.

  • Risk Management Skills: The Ability To Identify And Assess Potential Risks To Business Operations And Develop Mitigation Strategies Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have Experience In Conducting Risk Assessments And Developing Risk Management Plans.

  • Technical Expertise: A Business Continuity Specialist Must Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Familiar With A Variety Of It Systems And Applications. Knowledge Of Disaster Recovery And Data Backup Processes Is Also Important.

  • Communication And Project Management Skills: This Role Involves Working With Various Stakeholders Across The Organization, Including Senior Management, It Teams, And Business Units. Strong Communication And Project Management Skills Are Necessary To Effectively Coordinate And Execute Business Continuity Plans.
