- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and maintain business continuity for the organization.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify potential risks and create contingency plans for potential disruptions.
- Ensure proper execution of business continuity plans in the event of an emergency.
- Regularly review and update business continuity plans to ensure effectiveness.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in the organization's business continuity processes.
- Monitor industry best practices and make recommendations for improvements to the organization's business continuity program.
- Communicate and educate employees on business continuity processes and procedures.
- Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure critical systems and processes are included in business continuity plans.
- Coordinate and conduct business continuity drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of plans.
- Maintain documentation of business continuity plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure business continuity plans are aligned and coordinated.
- Stay updated on potential threats and disruptions that could impact the organization's business operations.
- Act as a point of contact for business continuity-related inquiries and escalations.
- Assist in developing and managing the business continuity budget.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to business continuity planning.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the organization's business continuity preparedness.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Business Continuity Planning And Disaster Recovery.
Professional Certification In Business Continuity, Such As Cbcp Or Mbci.
Strong Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Business Continuity, Such As Iso 22301 And Ffiec Guidelines.
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Develop Effective Business Continuity Plans.
