- Serve as the primary spokesperson for Planned Parenthood's election and campaign efforts, effectively communicating our message and advocating for our policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop messaging and materials that effectively convey Planned Parenthood's positions and initiatives.
- Monitor and track media coverage related to reproductive healthcare and rights, providing regular updates and analysis to inform communication strategies.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, statements, and other materials in a timely manner to respond to breaking news and advance Planned Parenthood's priorities.
- Plan and execute media events, including press conferences, rallies, and interviews, to raise awareness and support for Planned Parenthood's campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in public relations and communications, incorporating new tactics and strategies into Planned Parenthood's efforts.
- Provide media training and support to other spokespeople and staff members as needed.
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to coordinate joint communications efforts and maximize impact.
- Monitor and track media mentions and social media activity related to Planned Parenthood's campaigns, providing regular reports to inform future strategies.
- Serve as a representative of Planned Parenthood at relevant events and conferences, building relationships and promoting our mission.
