Job Description

Ensure department processes and project management are stewarded and communicated effectively. Manage project intake and serve as the first point of contact on requests from teams across the division. Work with supervisor to assign and track multiple project streams; communicate progress within and outside the department; deliver materials effectively and in appropriate file formats; and document and file accordingly. Generate and manage project plans and timelines for both short and long term campaigns. Align and advise on competing priorities, and manage assignment traffic using project management tools, including Asana and Google Suite. Serve as a junior writer on the team, and draft or edit materials and email messaging, in close coordination with their supervisor. Support the communication of weekly media and programmatic updates. Support the communication of monthly department updates.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health and rights issues preferred.

  • Great at troubleshooting and finding innovative ways to solve problems.

  • Flexibility to work occasional night and/or weekend hours.

  • Knowledge of racial equity and justice principles, working within a diverse workforce

  • 3+ years of related experience
