Job Description

Responsible for day-to-day execution of the national SMS (text) program, including building, testing, and sending text messages to Planned Parenthood’s supporter list within our existing SMS platform (currently Mobile Commons). Reviews, edits, and vets SMS and Hustle content that compels key audiences to take action and appropriately reflects the organization's voice. Drafts content as needed. Closely monitors, measures, and reports on SMS campaign performance on a weekly basis. Provides actionable recommendations and improvements. Assists with day-to-day data 2 operations for SMS program as needed, including creating audience segments and importing/exporting lists. Recommends A/B tests to optimize and innovate mobile texting program; works with Associate Director of Digital Innovations to develop test plans, deploy A/B tests, and implement results.

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and re-prioritize work as needed.

  • A fast learner who is eager to acquire new skills, take initiative, and jump in to help others.

  • 1 year relevant experience in digital marketing, fundraising, copywriting, or similar required.

  • Mobile Commons, Hustle, EveryAction, VAN, Salesforce a plus but not required.
