Job Description

The Manager will perform a variety of complex research and analytical tasks, and will be a key member of a team dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered research and dissemination. The Manager will support the PPFA-led research workstream. Implement data analyses using SPSS, Stata or another social science analysis package. Gather and synthesize information, including literature reviews. Help prepare and coordinate IRB-related applications. Produce scientific abstracts, manuscripts, and research briefs. Design, format, review and advise on the development of survey instruments. Assist in various aspects of proposal development, for example by developing analysis plans. Provide support for study coordination, data collection, and management (e.g., tracking enrollment and participation in surveys and interviews, administering gift cards and other forms of remuneration).

Job Qualifications
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and ambiguous situations.

  • 3 years of professional (or) related experience in health-related research and/or epidemiology.

  • Prior experience with study design and development preferred

  • Experience with using quantitative data analysis software, preferably STATA or SPSS, to analyze large and/or complex data sets.

Compensation

According to JobzMall, the average salary range for a Manager, Research & Data is $55,000 to $90,000. The salary range will depend on the individual's experience, credentials, and the size and location of the organization.
