Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Data Systems & Research to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will oversee the organization's critical data systems and conduct research to inform our programs and services. We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic thinker who is passionate about using data to make a positive impact on people's lives.   1. Oversee all aspects of the organization's data systems including data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting.
  2. Develop and implement data management processes and protocols to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  3. Conduct regular audits of data systems to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.
  4. Collaborate with various departments to identify data needs and provide support in collecting and analyzing data.
  5. Conduct research to inform the organization's programs and services, including identifying relevant data sources, designing studies, and analyzing and presenting findings.
  6. Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and inform decision-making.
  7. Train and support staff on data collection and management processes and systems.
  8. Utilize data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the organization's operations and services.
  9. Communicate data insights and findings to stakeholders, including senior leadership, to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  10. Stay up-to-date with developments in data management and research methodologies, and make recommendations for improvements and advancements in the organization's data systems.
  11. Ensure the security and confidentiality of all sensitive data in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy regulations.
  12. Manage a team of data analysts and researchers, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage data and research resources and support the organization's mission and goals.
  14. Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and other events related to data systems and research.
  15. Uphold Planned Parenthood's values and commitment to providing high-quality reproductive healthcare and education to individuals and communities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Data Analytics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Managerial Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Nonprofit Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Data Management Systems And Research Methodologies.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing A Team.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Privacy Laws, Such As Hipaa, And Experience Ensuring Compliance Within A Data-Driven Environment.
