  1. Conduct legal research on relevant cases and laws related to reproductive rights and justice.
  2. Assist in drafting legal briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
  3. Attend court hearings and trials to observe and support the legal team.
  4. Conduct interviews with clients and assist in gathering evidence for cases.
  5. Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments.
  6. Maintain organized and accurate case files and documents.
  7. Attend training sessions and workshops to further develop legal and advocacy skills.
  8. Assist in community outreach and education efforts related to reproductive rights and justice.
  9. Stay up-to-date on developments and changes in laws and policies related to reproductive health.
  10. Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive case information.
  11. Represent Planned Parenthood in a professional and positive manner.
  12. Cultivate relationships with other organizations and legal professionals working in the field of reproductive rights and justice.
  13. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and insights.
  14. Maintain a strong commitment to social justice and reproductive rights.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the legal team.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Legal Principles And Procedures: A Successful Litigation Intern At Planned Parenthood Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Legal Principles And Procedures, Including Civil Litigation, Discovery, And Legal Research.

  • Excellent Research And Writing Skills: As A Litigation Intern, You Will Be Responsible For Conducting Legal Research And Drafting Legal Documents. Therefore, Strong Research And Writing Skills Are Essential For This Role.
