Job Description

At Planned Parenthood, we are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as the Director of Data Architecture and Engineering.   1. Develop and implement data architecture strategies to support Planned Parenthood's mission and goals.
  2. Lead and manage a team of data architects and engineers to ensure the successful execution of data projects.
  3. Design and maintain data systems and processes to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide data solutions.
  5. Develop and implement data quality and governance standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data architecture and engineering to ensure Planned Parenthood remains at the forefront of data-driven decision making.
  7. Provide guidance and support to team members on technical issues and problem-solving.
  8. Develop and manage the data infrastructure budget and resources.
  9. Oversee the development and implementation of data analytics tools and technologies.
  10. Monitor and report on data architecture and engineering performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  11. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop data-driven strategies and initiatives.
  12. Train and onboard new team members, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their roles.
  13. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  14. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the data architecture and engineering team.
  15. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to promote a data-driven culture and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Computer Science, Data Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Data Architecture And Engineering, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Data Management Principles, Including Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, And Data Governance.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With Experience Managing A Team Of Data Engineers And Architects.

  • Experience With Healthcare Data And Analytics Platforms, Such As Epic, Cerner, Or Tableau.
