- Develop and implement initiatives that promote access and success for all students, with a focus on underrepresented and marginalized populations.
- Work closely with students, faculty, and staff to identify and address barriers to student success.
- Collaborate with campus partners to create a more inclusive and equitable higher education environment.
- Serve as a resource for students, providing support and guidance throughout their academic journey.
- Design and facilitate workshops and trainings on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of access and success initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
- Advocate for policy changes and institutional practices that promote equity and inclusion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and resources that support underrepresented and marginalized students.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices related to access and success in higher education.
- Serve as a mentor and advocate for students, providing one-on-one support and connecting them with relevant resources and opportunities.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure the successful implementation of access and success initiatives.
- Collaborate with admissions and retention teams to recruit and retain a diverse student population.
- Represent the college at conferences, workshops, and other events related to access and success in higher education.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on access and success initiatives and seeking feedback and input.
- Embody the college's values of diversity, social responsibility, and student-centeredness in all aspects of the role.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Coordinating Access And Success Programs Or Services In A College Or University Setting.
Extensive Knowledge Of Best Practices In Promoting Access And Success For Underrepresented And Marginalized Student Populations.
Strong Understanding Of Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Principles And Their Application In Higher Education.
Excellent Communication, Organization, And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With A Diverse Range Of Stakeholders.
