  1. Conduct research and analysis to understand user needs and behaviors, and use this information to inform product design and development.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and researchers, to ensure that all aspects of product design are user-friendly and meet user needs.
  3. Develop and implement usability testing strategies to gather feedback and make data-driven decisions for product improvement.
  4. Apply principles of human factors and cognitive psychology to design intuitive and efficient user interfaces.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and ensure products meet safety and regulatory standards.
  6. Utilize user-centered design principles to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for product development.
  7. Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for product enhancements.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in usability and human factors engineering to continuously improve product design processes.
  9. Communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  10. Maintain documentation and records related to product design and development, including usability testing results, user feedback, and design decisions.
  11. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand user needs and preferences and incorporate these into product design and messaging.
  12. Represent the company and promote a user-centric mindset at conferences, events, and other industry gatherings.
  13. Mentor and train junior usability and human factors engineers to ensure a high standard of product design and development within the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human Factors Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Usability Or Human Factors Engineering Role In A Product Development Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Human Factors Principles And Methodologies, Including Usability Testing, User Research, And User-Centered Design.

  • Proficiency In Relevant Software Tools, Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, Or Other Prototyping And Wireframing Tools.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Design, Engineering, And Product Management Teams.
