  1. Develop, implement, and maintain trade compliance policies and procedures in accordance with applicable import and export laws and regulations.
  2. Monitor and analyze changes in trade laws and regulations to ensure compliance and proactively identify potential risks.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and supply chain, to ensure trade compliance requirements are met.
  4. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address any deficiencies.
  5. Provide training and support to employees on trade compliance regulations and procedures.
  6. Serve as the main point of contact for all trade compliance inquiries and escalations.
  7. Manage import and export licenses, permits, and authorizations.
  8. Ensure accurate and timely filing of all required import and export documentation.
  9. Collaborate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
  10. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to trade compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  11. Stay updated on industry best practices and proactively recommend process improvements to enhance trade compliance.
  12. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
  13. Maintain records and documentation related to trade compliance activities.
  14. Coordinate internal and external audits related to trade compliance.
  15. Represent the company in any trade compliance related matters with government agencies or regulatory bodies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In International Trade, Business, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Trade Compliance, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Global Trade Regulations, Including Export Controls, Customs Laws, And Sanctions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Internal Teams And External Stakeholders.

  • Experience In Managing Trade Compliance Programs And Implementing Policies And Procedures To Ensure Compliance With Regulations.
