  1. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Philips' quality standards and policies, and ensure that all suppliers adhere to these standards.
  2. Manage the relationship with suppliers, including conducting regular quality audits and providing feedback on their performance.
  3. Develop and implement supplier quality improvement programs to ensure continuous improvement in product quality.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, and drive timely and effective corrective actions.
  5. Collaborate with suppliers to develop quality control plans and monitor their effectiveness.
  6. Conduct risk assessments of suppliers to identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation plans.
  7. Monitor and analyze supplier quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  8. Act as a technical resource for suppliers, providing guidance on quality standards and processes.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on quality requirements.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in supplier quality management, and make recommendations for improvements to processes and systems.
  11. Mentor and train junior quality engineers on supplier quality management best practices.
  12. Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
  13. Effectively communicate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance, and drive improvements as needed.
  15. Ensure compliance with all relevant quality regulations and standards.
  16. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's quality management system.
  17. Participate in supplier selection and qualification processes.
  18. Represent the company and its commitment to quality at external supplier meetings and conferences.
  19. Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement quality improvement plans and monitor their progress.
  20. Provide regular updates and reports on supplier quality performance to senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supplier Quality Engineering, Preferably In A Medical Device Or Highly Regulated Industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, With Preference For A Focus In Quality Or Supply Chain Management.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Quality Management Systems, Including Iso 13485 And Fda Regulations.

  • Experience In Managing Supplier Audits And Driving Continuous Improvement In Supplier Quality.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate With External Suppliers.
