Job Description

At Philips, we are looking for an experienced Post Market Surveillance Specialist to join our team. The Post Market Surveillance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing post-market surveillance data to identify safety risks and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of both technical and regulatory expertise, as well as highly developed analytical and communication skills.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a life sciences, engineering, or other relevant field, as well as a minimum of three years of experience in regulatory affairs, post-market surveillance, quality assurance, or related areas. Additionally, prior experience in the medical device industry is preferred but not required. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates a commitment to excellence, is highly organized and detail-oriented, and is capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and analyze post-market surveillance data to identify safety risks and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations, both domestic and international
  3. Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  4. Monitor and review post-market surveillance data for trends, potential safety risks, and other indicators of risk
  5. Prepare and submit reports related to post-market surveillance activities
  6. Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with regulatory authorities
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all regulatory requirements are met
  8. Liaise with external vendors to ensure compliance with post-market surveillance requirements
  9. Participate in audits and inspections as necessary
  10. Provide ongoing training and education to internal stakeholders
