- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry regulations and standards related to medical software and systems.
- Monitor and assess potential risks and safety concerns associated with our medical technology products and systems.
- Develop and implement safety and compliance strategies and protocols to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and approve product designs and updates for safety and compliance.
- Conduct regular safety audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments related to medical software and systems safety to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and ensure timely and accurate reporting of safety incidents.
- Provide training and guidance to team members and other stakeholders on safety and compliance best practices.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of product documentation and labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate regularly with top management to provide updates on safety and compliance initiatives and any potential risks.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address safety and compliance concerns and implement solutions.
- Represent the company in regulatory audits and inspections related to medical software and systems.
- Stay updated on emerging safety and compliance issues and proactively address them to minimize risk.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization through training, communication, and leading by example.
- Continuously evaluate and improve safety and compliance processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Or Public Health.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role.
Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Standards, Such As Hipaa And Fda Regulations, Related To Medical Device Safety And Data Privacy.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Potential Safety Risks And Develop Proactive Solutions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Stakeholders At All Levels.
