  1. Coordinate the Material Review Board (MRB) process for non-conforming materials, including gathering necessary documentation and facilitating discussions with cross-functional teams.
  2. Review and analyze non-conforming materials to determine appropriate disposition, such as rework, scrap, or return to supplier.
  3. Maintain accurate records of MRB activities, including documenting decisions and updating the status of materials.
  4. Work closely with suppliers to communicate MRB decisions and resolve any quality issues.
  5. Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to identify and address root causes of non-conformities.
  6. Monitor and report on MRB metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  7. Stay up to date on industry standards and regulations related to material quality and make recommendations for process improvements.
  8. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide input on material quality and supply chain issues.
  9. Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures.
  10. Train and mentor team members on MRB processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Education And Experience In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Material Review Board Coordinator Should Possess A Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field And Have Experience Working In A Manufacturing Or Quality Control Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Quality Control Processes And Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Quality Control Processes And Procedures, Including Root Cause Analysis, Corrective And Preventive Actions, And Document Control.
