Job Description

Philips is seeking an experienced Government Contracts and Grants Controller to join our team. As a key member of the Finance team, the Government Contracts and Grants Controller will be responsible for the preparation, review, submission, and management of all government contracts and grants within the organization. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, and five or more years of experience in government contracts and grants management. Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare, review, submit, and manage all government contracts and grants.
  2. Monitor and investiage any irregularities in government contracts and grants.
  3. Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations.
  4. Maintain accurate records and databases related to government contracts and grants.
  5. Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Monitor and analyze financial performance related to government contracts and grants.
  7. Provide timely and accurate reporting to management and stakeholders.
  8. Maintain positive relationships with external contacts, such as government agencies.
  9. Train and mentor staff members on government contracts and grants management.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to government contracts and grants.
