FPGA Design Engineer

Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field• 5-10 years of experience in FPGA design and development• Expertise in Verilog/VHDL coding and simulation• Experienced in Xilinx, Altera, and/or Actel tool chains• Working knowledge of digital signal processing, communication protocols, and system-level design• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and improve FPGA-based designs for products across a variety of industries.
2. Utilize Verilog/VHDL coding and simulation to design FPGA-based products.
3. Work with Xilinx, Altera, and/or Actel tool chains in developing designs.
4. Utilize digital signal processing, communication protocols, and system-level design when developing products.
5. Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Analyze and solve complex design problems.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
8. Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
9. Follow standard engineering practices and procedures.
10. Stay up to date with FPGA design principles and trends.
