  1. Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of ultrasound equipment for customers.
  2. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide prompt and effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime for customers.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
  4. Conduct product demonstrations and training for customers to ensure proper and efficient use of the equipment.
  5. Keep detailed records of service activities and provide regular updates to management and customers.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and continuously improve technical knowledge.
  7. Adhere to company safety protocols and ensure all services are performed in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of new service strategies.
  10. Travel to various locations as needed to support customer needs.
  11. Assist in the development and testing of new ultrasound products.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support to customers.
  13. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Related Field Is Essential For A Field Service Engineer, Ultrasound Position At Philips. This Education Provides The Necessary Theoretical Knowledge And Practical Skills Needed To Troubleshoot Complex Issues With Ultrasound Equipment.

  • Previous Experience In Medical Device Servicing: Experience In Servicing Medical Devices, Specifically Ultrasound Equipment, Is A Key Qualification For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations, As Well As Experience With Troubleshooting And Repairing Complex Equipment.

  • Strong Technical Skills: A Field Service Engineer, Ultrasound Must Possess Strong Technical Skills To Effectively Diagnose And Repair Equipment. This Includes A Thorough Understanding Of Electrical And Mechanical Systems, As Well As Proficiency In Computer Software And Diagnostic Tools.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: Working As A Field Service Engineer, Ultrasound Requires Regular Communication With Both Internal Teams And External Customers. Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential In Order To Effectively Convey Technical Information And Provide Exceptional Customer Service.

  • Ability To Work Independently: As A Field Service Engineer, Ultrasound, You Will Often Be Required To Work Independently And Manage Your Own Schedule. Candidates Should Possess Strong Time Management Skills And Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively Without Direct Supervision. They Should Also Be Comfortable Traveling Frequently And Working In A Variety Of Settings, Such As Hospitals, Clinics, And Customer Sites.
