
Federal Contracts Administrator
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Federal Contracts Administrator to join Philips' team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with federal regulations and contractual requirements. To succeed in this role, you must have a comprehensive understanding of government contract regulations and experience working with a wide range of federal contracts. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organizational skills who is comfortable working independently and taking the initiative. If you are a self-starter with a passion for contracts and a commitment to delivering results, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a relevant field* At least 5 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator in the federal government* Strong knowledge of government procurement regulations and requirements* Proven experience in contract negotiation, review, and execution* Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze contract documents* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills* Working knowledge of contract management software and MS Office Suite
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all phases of the contract life cycle, including pre-award reviews, contract negotiation, award, and post-award administration.
- Analyze and interpret complex contract documents and regulations to ensure compliance with federal requirements.
- Manage and update contract records and databases in order to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
- Proactively manage contractual risks and disputes to ensure successful resolution.
- Prepare and maintain contractual performance reports.
- Develop and review contractual terms and conditions to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and assess changes in laws, regulations, or policies that could impact contractual performance.
- Develop and implement contract management strategies to improve cost savings and efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments and personnel to ensure contractual requirements are met.
- Negotiate and resolve contractual issues with vendors and suppliers.
