  1. Ensure compliance with tax and customs laws: The Tax & Customs Executive will be responsible for staying up-to-date with all relevant tax and customs regulations and ensuring that the company’s operations are in compliance with them. This includes regularly reviewing and updating internal processes and procedures to align with changing regulations.
  2. Provide strategic guidance: The individual in this role will be expected to use their expertise in tax and customs to provide strategic guidance to the company’s business operations. This may include identifying potential risks and opportunities, developing effective tax strategies, and advising on the impact of new regulations.
  3. Conduct audits and assessments: The Tax & Customs Executive will be responsible for conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure that all tax and customs-related processes are being followed correctly and efficiently. This includes identifying any potential areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  4. Monitor and manage tax payments: It will be the responsibility of the Tax & Customs Executive to monitor and manage all tax payments, ensuring that they are made accurately and on time. This may involve working closely with the finance department and external tax authorities.
  5. Stay informed on industry developments: This individual will be expected to stay informed on industry developments, changes in tax and customs laws, and any other relevant updates. They will then need to communicate this information to relevant stakeholders within the company and make any necessary adjustments to processes and procedures.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders: The Tax & Customs Executive will need to work closely with various internal stakeholders, such as finance, legal, and operations teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. They may also need to liaise with external stakeholders, such as tax authorities and customs officials.
  7. Support global tax and customs projects: The individual in this role may be involved in various global tax and customs projects, such as developing new tax strategies, implementing new systems, or expanding into new markets. They will be responsible for providing expert input and support to these projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Tax And Customs Management In A Multinational Company Or A Tax Consulting Firm.

  • Strong Knowledge Of International Tax Laws And Regulations, Customs Procedures, And Trade Agreements.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Tax And Customs Information.

  • Proven Leadership Abilities, Including Experience In Managing A Team And Working Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
