
Sustainability Manager
At Philip Morris International, we are looking for an experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of knowledge, energy and enthusiasm for environmental sustainability, with the ability to drive meaningful change.The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability initiatives to meet our corporate goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of sustainability principles and be passionate about their work.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field, and have a minimum of five years of experience in sustainability, environmental sciences or a related field. They should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills as well as the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to complex problems. The successful candidate will also be an excellent team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to meet sustainability goals, including identifying opportunities to reduce environmental impact, improve operational efficiency, and achieve cost savings.
- Monitor and evaluate sustainability initiatives to ensure success, and develop new initiatives when necessary.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry organizations to ensure that sustainability objectives are met.
- Prepare and track sustainability performance metrics and goals, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Research best practices in sustainability and report on industry trends.
- Create and conduct training programs related to sustainability topics.
- Participate in sustainability-related conferences, meetings, and other events.
- Stay up to date with current sustainability trends and developments.
