
Regulatory Affairs Specialist
At Philip Morris International (PMI), we are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team and help us ensure the safe and compliant operation of our business. This position requires someone with an eye for detail and a passion for regulatory compliance.The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining regulatory strategies in support of our commercial activities, as well as monitoring relevant legislation and staying up to date on regulatory requirements. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant regulatory standards.The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related field• At least 5 years' experience in a regulatory affairs role• Previous experience in the tobacco industry (preferred)• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for product development• Excellent communication and organizational skills• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standardsIf you are excited by the idea of being a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at PMI, we look forward to hearing from you.
Responsibilities of a Regulatory Affairs Specialist:
- Develop and maintain regulatory strategies that support PMI’s commercial activities.
- Monitor relevant legislation and stay up to date on regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, such as regulatory authorities and industry bodies, on matters related to regulatory affairs.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on regulatory compliance issues.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documents, such as notifications and applications for product approval.
- Analyze and interpret scientific data related to product development.
- Manage records and documents related to regulatory activities.
- Maintain and enhance the organization’s relationships with regulatory authorities.
- Monitor the performance of regulatory activities and identify areas of improvement.
