- Develop and implement effective compliance programs in line with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Lead a team of compliance professionals and provide guidance and support in executing their responsibilities.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance requirements are understood and integrated into business processes.
- Conduct regular monitoring and audits to assess compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Stay updated on changes in regional regulations and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes.
- Communicate with senior management and other stakeholders regarding compliance program effectiveness and any identified issues.
- Develop and deliver compliance training to all relevant employees.
- Investigate and address any compliance violations or breaches.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and external partners.
- Provide guidance and support to the company's regional markets on compliance matters.
- Drive a culture of ethical business practices and promote a smoke-free future.
- Collaborate with other compliance teams within the company to share best practices and ensure consistency.
- Regularly report on compliance program effectiveness to senior management and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Uphold the company's values and ethical standards in all aspects of the role.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Compliance Monitoring Or Auditing Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Local And International Regulations And Laws Related To The Tobacco Industry.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
