
InfoSec Engineer Application Security

- Develop and implement application security policies and procedures to protect company data.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing on company applications.
- Identify and analyze potential security vulnerabilities in applications and make recommendations for mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the application development process.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting forensic investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats in application security to continuously improve security measures.
- Perform code reviews and identify potential security risks in application code.
- Develop and deliver training on application security best practices to developers and other team members.
- Work with third-party vendors to ensure the security of any externally developed applications.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including management and other team members, to provide updates on application security and any potential risks.
- Maintain and update security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for applications.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on application security related matters.
- Conduct research and make recommendations on new security tools and technologies to enhance application security.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that all applications are compliant with relevant security regulations and standards.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Security, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Application Security, Preferably In A Large Corporate Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Secure Coding Practices And Experience Conducting Vulnerability Assessments And Penetration Testing.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations Such As Iso 27001, Pci Dss, And Gdpr.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Vendors To Implement Security Solutions.
