Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Government Affairs Coordinator to join our team at Philip Morris International (PMI) and help us further our mission of providing our customers with the best quality tobacco products. This position requires someone with excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong sense of diplomacy, and experience in public policy, political processes, and legislative and regulatory activities.The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with good judgment who enjoys working on complex challenges and is able to think strategically. They should be highly organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and analyze public policy, legislative, and regulatory activities and develop strategies to advance PMI’s mission.
  2. Communicate and negotiate with government officials, stakeholders, and other external entities.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and government officials.
  4. Develop and execute advocacy campaigns to support PMI goals.
  5. Plan and organize events, meetings, and conferences to engage stakeholders.
  6. Manage and track political contributions and related activities.
  7. Prepare presentations, reports, and other documents for internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Monitor media coverage of PMI and provide feedback and reports.
  9. Track and report on key performance indicators.
  10. Stay abreast of developments in political news and public policy.
