
Government Affairs Coordinator
At Philip Morris International, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and forward-thinking individual to join our Government Affairs team as a Government Affairs Coordinator.In this role, you will be responsible for driving our company’s government affairs strategies and initiatives. You will need to possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects at once while leveraging your expertise in policymaking and regulation.You should have a deep knowledge of the state and federal legislative processes and the ability to interpret complex laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should also have experience working with government agencies and a strong understanding of the company’s mission and goals. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute government affairs strategies and initiatives.
- Analyze complex laws and regulations and interpret them for practical application.
- Liaise with government agencies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key government and policy stakeholders.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and trends.
- Research and analyze policy issues and make recommendations accordingly.
- Develop and implement communications strategies to support government affairs objectives.
- Develop and manage projects related to government affairs.
- Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and evaluate data to inform decision-making.
