Job Description

At Philip Morris International, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and forward-thinking individual to join our Government Affairs team as a Government Affairs Coordinator.In this role, you will be responsible for driving our company’s government affairs strategies and initiatives. You will need to possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects at once while leveraging your expertise in policymaking and regulation.You should have a deep knowledge of the state and federal legislative processes and the ability to interpret complex laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should also have experience working with government agencies and a strong understanding of the company’s mission and goals. Additionally, you must be able to think strategically and creatively in order to devise solutions to complex problems.If you have a passion for policymaking and the skills to make an impact, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute government affairs strategies and initiatives.
  2. Analyze complex laws and regulations and interpret them for practical application.
  3. Liaise with government agencies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key government and policy stakeholders.
  5. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and trends.
  6. Research and analyze policy issues and make recommendations accordingly.
  7. Develop and implement communications strategies to support government affairs objectives.
  8. Develop and manage projects related to government affairs.
  9. Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Analyze and evaluate data to inform decision-making.
