Auto Mechanic, Fleet Operations

Do you have a knack for Auto Mechanics and a passion for Fleet Operations? Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) is looking for an experienced Auto Mechanic to join our Fleet Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, evaluating and diagnosing mechanical issues, and repairing all types of automotive and heavy equipment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an impact on the way fleet operations are managed.We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic, either in the public or private sector, as well as an ASE certification and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities:

-Perform preventative maintenance on automotive and heavy equipment

-Diagnose and repair mechanical issues -Maintain accurate records of all fleet operations and repairs -Work independently and with other team members to ensure efficient completion of all tasks -Comply with all safety, environmental, and regulatory policies and procedures -Maintain a valid driver's license and ASE certification -Operate vehicles to test mechanical components -Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and best practices
