- Design and implement container-based infrastructure solutions to support PGIM Real Estate's growing business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation tools and processes for efficient deployment and management of containers.
- Monitor and troubleshoot container-based applications to ensure high availability and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest container technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve and optimize our infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary measures to ensure the security and compliance of our container infrastructure.
- Proactively identify and resolve any infrastructure issues or bottlenecks to maintain a stable and scalable environment.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to evaluate and implement new container technologies or tools.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on infrastructure development and address any concerns or issues.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our container infrastructure.
Strong Understanding Of Containerization Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Containerization Technologies, Such As Docker, Kubernetes, And Openshift. They Should Also Have Experience Deploying And Managing Containerized Applications In A Production Environment.
Proficiency In Scripting And Automation: An Infrastructure Developer - Containers Should Be Proficient In Scripting Languages Such As Bash, Python, And Perl. They Should Also Have Experience With Automation Tools Like Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef, Which Are Necessary For Managing Containerized Environments At Scale.
Experience With Cloud Infrastructure: As Pgim Real Estate Moves Towards A Cloud-First Approach, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With Public Cloud Platforms, Such As Aws, Azure, Or Gcp. They Should Be Well-Versed In Using Cloud Services To Deploy And Manage Containerized Applications.
Knowledge Of Networking And Security: A Strong Understanding Of Networking And Security Concepts Is Essential For An Infrastructure Developer - Containers. They Should Be Familiar With Configuring And Managing Network Policies, Load Balancers, And Firewalls For Containerized Environments.
Familiarity With Ci/Cd Pipelines: Pgim Real Estate Values A Devops Culture, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With Building And Maintaining Ci/Cd Pipelines For Containerized Applications. They Should Be Familiar With Tools Like Jenkins, Gitlab, Or Circleci And Have Experience With Continuous Integration And Continuous Deployment Processes.
