Job Description

At PGIM Real Estate, we are looking for a forward-thinking and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our team. Our Fund Accountant will ensure the accuracy of our fund accounting processes, manage a portfolio of clients, and act as a trusted advisor to our internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, experience in accounting and/or fund administration, and a strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software. An analytical, organized, and effective communicator with a passion for detail and accuracy, the Fund Accountant should have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all fund accounting processes and procedures
  2. Manage a portfolio of clients and provide advice and direction to stakeholders
  3. Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy of financial reporting
  4. Prepare financial reports and other documents for internal and external stakeholders
  5. Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  6. Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records
  7. Provide technical guidance and training to staff on fund accounting processes
  8. Develop and implement efficient accounting systems and procedures
  9. Monitor and review accounting processes and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date
  10. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to management and stakeholders

Job Qualifications
  • -Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance

  • -Cpa And/Or Mba Preferred

  • -+ Years Of Public And/Or Private Accounting Experience

  • -Strong Understanding Of Us Gaap And Sec Regulations

  • -Fund Accounting Experience Preferred

  • -Excellent Communication Skills

  • -Proficiency With Microsoft Office Suite

  • -Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Multi-Task
