
Director, Fixed Income Compliance

- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures for fixed income investments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and review all fixed income investment activities to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in regulatory requirements and proactively make necessary updates to compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop corrective action plans.
- Train and educate staff on compliance policies and procedures, and ensure all employees are aware of their responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance inquiries and communicate with regulatory agencies as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with fixed income investment guidelines and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external compliance consultants and advisors.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new fixed income investment products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and manage a team of compliance professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of compliance tasks and projects.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Proactively identify and address potential compliance issues and recommend solutions to mitigate risk.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of fixed income markets and monitor industry trends to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Conduct and oversee investigations into any potential compliance violations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Extensive Knowledge Of Fixed Income Compliance Regulations: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of All Relevant Regulations And Laws Related To Fixed Income Investments, Such As Sec, Finra, And Cftc Rules.
Previous Experience In Compliance Roles: A Director Of Fixed Income Compliance At Pgim Real Estate Should Have A Strong Background In Compliance, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing Compliance Programs, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Implementing Compliance Policies And Procedures.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires A Highly Analytical Mindset And The Ability To Identify Potential Compliance Risks And Develop Effective Solutions. The Ideal Candidate Should Also Be Able To Interpret Complex Regulations And Apply Them To Real-World Situations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Interacting With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Internal Teams, And External Regulators.
