  1. Lead the strategic planning and execution of Pfizer's oncology portfolio.
  2. Manage and oversee the performance of the oncology product teams.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  4. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the development and commercialization of oncology products.
  5. Provide vision and direction for the development of new oncology products.
  6. Ensure timely and effective communication of portfolio updates and progress to senior leadership.
  7. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
  8. Develop and manage budgets and resources for the oncology product teams.
  9. Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performing and cohesive team.
  10. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and trends in the oncology field to inform and guide decision-making.
  11. Represent Pfizer and the oncology portfolio at external events and conferences.
  12. Uphold and promote Pfizer's values and commitment to improving patient lives.

Job Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree In Life Sciences: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Possess An Advanced Degree In A Life Science Field Such As Biology, Pharmacology, Or Oncology. This Will Ensure A Strong Understanding Of The Scientific And Medical Aspects Of The Oncology Product Portfolio.

  • Extensive Experience In Oncology Drug Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Oncology Drug Development, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Product Launches And Managing Product Teams. This Experience Should Include All Stages Of Drug Development, From Pre-Clinical To Post-Marketing.

  • Strategic Leadership Skills: As The Head Of Oncology Product Teams And Portfolio Program Management, The Candidate Should Have Strong Strategic Leadership Skills And The Ability To Develop And Execute Long-Term Plans For The Oncology Portfolio. This Includes Identifying Market Opportunities, Setting Product Development Priorities, And Managing Resources Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Vice President Should Be An Effective Communicator With Excellent Presentation Skills And The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams. This Role Will Require Working Closely With Colleagues From Various Departments Such As Research, Clinical Development, Marketing, And Sales.

  • Business Acumen And Financial Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Business Acumen And The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions. They Should Also Possess Financial Management Skills To Effectively Manage The Budget For The Oncology Product Teams And Portfolio Program. This Includes Forecasting, Budget Planning, And Resource Allocation.
