- Develop and implement strategies for effective management of the contingent workforce in alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of contingent workers, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop workforce plans to meet those needs.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of contingent workers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize their contributions.
- Build and maintain relationships with staffing agencies and other external partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of contingent workers.
- Develop and manage budgets for the contingent workforce, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in contingent workforce management and implement changes as needed to enhance processes and procedures.
- Lead a team of contingent workforce coordinators and provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success.
- Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the contingent workforce operations and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies for the contingent workforce.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in managing the contingent workforce.
- Act as a liaison between the contingent workforce and the rest of the organization, fostering a positive and productive working relationship.
- Ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce by promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives in the contingent workforce.
- Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure proper contract management and risk mitigation for contingent workers.
- Represent the company and the contingent workforce operations team in internal and external meetings and events.
Extensive Experience In Contingent Workforce Management: A Sr. Manager - Contingent Workforce Operations Lead At Pfizer Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Managing Contingent Workers And Vendor Relationships, Preferably In A Large Multinational Organization.
Strong Understanding Of Compliance And Labor Laws: With The Increasing Complexity Of Labor Laws And Regulations, A Sr. Manager - Contingent Workforce Operations Lead Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Compliance Requirements And Be Able To Ensure Adherence To Them.
