  1. Conduct thorough and up-to-date research on medical advancements and treatment options in the pharmaceutical industry.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute medical strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to stay informed on industry trends and developments.
  4. Communicate complex scientific data and information to both internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Participate in the planning and execution of medical education programs and events.
  6. Utilize your scientific expertise to support the development of new products and improve existing ones.
  7. Stay up-to-date on regulatory and compliance guidelines to ensure all medical communications are accurate and compliant.
  8. Provide support for clinical trials, including protocol development and data analysis.
  9. Represent the company at medical conferences, symposiums, and other events.
  10. Continuously monitor and analyze competitor products and market trends to inform business decisions.
  11. Assist in the development of medical training materials for internal teams.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure medical messaging is consistent and impactful.
  13. Act as a liaison between the company and external medical organizations, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups.
  14. Support the development and implementation of medical and scientific publications.
  15. Keep abreast of changes and advancements in the pharmaceutical industry to provide recommendations for process improvements and new opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Medical Or Life Sciences: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Medical Or Life Science Field Is Typically Required For A Medical Affairs Scientist Position At Pfizer. This Ensures A Strong Foundation In Scientific Knowledge And Understanding Of Medical Terminology.

  • Experience In Pharmaceutical Industry: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In The Pharmaceutical Industry, Preferably In A Medical Affairs Role. This Experience Provides A Familiarity With Drug Development Processes, Regulatory Requirements, And Medical Affairs Strategies.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Medical Affairs Scientist, One Must Effectively Communicate Complex Scientific Information To Both Internal And External Stakeholders. This Requires Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Communicate Data, Insights, And Recommendations Clearly And Concisely.

  • Medical Writing And Publication Experience: Candidates Should Have Experience In Medical Writing And Publication, Including Developing Scientific Manuscripts, Abstracts, Posters, And/Or Presentations For Scientific Conferences. This Demonstrates The Ability To Analyze And Present Scientific Data In A Clear And Compelling Manner.

  • Knowledge Of Clinical Trial Design And Data Analysis: A Strong Understanding Of Clinical Trial Design And Data Analysis Is Essential For A Medical Affairs Scientist At Pfizer. This Includes Experience With Clinical Trial Protocols, Statistical Analysis Plans, And Data Interpretation To Support Medical Decision-Making And Communication.
