- Conduct safety surveillance research and analysis to monitor adverse events related to Pfizer's products.
- Develop and implement safety surveillance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, clinical, and regulatory, to gather and evaluate safety data.
- Utilize scientific expertise to identify potential safety signals and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Review and interpret safety data from clinical trials, post-marketing studies, and other sources to support product safety evaluations.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of risk management plans for Pfizer's products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to safety surveillance and pharmacovigilance.
- Provide guidance and training to colleagues on safety surveillance processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of safety-related documents, such as safety reports and signal detection plans.
- Collaborate with global safety teams to ensure consistency and alignment in safety surveillance activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of safety surveillance.
- Represent Pfizer in interactions with regulatory authorities and other external stakeholders related to safety surveillance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of safety surveillance activities.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to safety surveillance and pharmacovigilance.

Extensive Knowledge Of Safety Surveillance Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Safety Surveillance Processes And Regulations, Including Ich Guidelines, To Effectively Oversee Safety Surveillance Activities.
Strong Analytical Skills: A Successful Candidate Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills To Review And Interpret Safety Data From Clinical Trials And Post-Marketing Sources. This Includes The Ability To Identify Safety Signals And Trends And Make Appropriate Recommendations.
Experience In Pharmacovigilance: The Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Pharmacovigilance, Including Risk Management And Signal Detection Processes, To Effectively Manage Safety Surveillance Activities For Pfizer's Products.
Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Manager, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Lead A Team Of Safety Surveillance Research Scientists. This Includes The Ability To Provide Clear Guidance, Delegate Tasks, And Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
Education And Certification: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Is Required For This Role. A Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Pharmacology, Toxicology, Or A Related Field Is Preferred. Certification In Pharmacovigilance Or Related Areas Is Also Highly Desired.
