- Oversee the daily operations of laboratory facilities, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently
- Manage a team of laboratory technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and maintain laboratory procedures and protocols in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
- Liaise with various departments within Pfizer to coordinate laboratory activities and projects
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies and equipment, ordering new items as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise in the laboratory
- Collaborate with scientists and researchers to develop and implement new laboratory techniques and technologies
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the laboratory is operating at the highest level of quality and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in laboratory techniques and technology, and make recommendations for implementation in the laboratory
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among laboratory staff.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Laboratory Setting, With A Track Record Of Managing And Leading Teams.
Strong Understanding Of Gmp Regulations And Quality Control Processes.
Proven Experience In Project Management, Including Planning, Organizing, And Coordinating Laboratory Activities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
