  1. Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of clinical studies focused on obesity research.
  2. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies throughout the clinical trial process.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research scientists, physicians, and statisticians, to develop study protocols and timelines.
  4. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful completion of clinical studies.
  5. Communicate study progress, data, and results to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical investigators to support recruitment and enrollment in studies.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and integrity of the study.
  8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the clinical study team members.
  9. Participate in study design and protocol development to ensure scientific rigor and feasibility.
  10. Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the course of the study.
  11. Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of obesity research and clinical trial management.
  12. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures related to clinical studies.
  13. Represent Pfizer at scientific conferences and meetings to present study results and contribute to the scientific community.
  14. Ensure all study activities are conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulations.
  15. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the clinical study team.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: The Clinical Study Team Lead For Obesity At Pfizer Should Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Scientific Or Healthcare-Related Field, Such As Medicine, Pharmacy, Or Public Health. This Educational Background Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Expertise To Effectively Lead Clinical Studies In The Field Of Obesity.

  • Extensive Experience In Clinical Research: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research, With A Specific Focus On Obesity. This Experience Should Include Designing And Leading Clinical Trials, As Well As Managing A Team Of Clinical Researchers.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: As Pfizer Is A Highly Regulated Pharmaceutical Company, The Clinical Study Team Lead Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements For Conducting Clinical Trials In The Field Of Obesity. This Includes Knowledge Of Fda, Ema, And Other Relevant Regulatory Bodies.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: A Successful Clinical Study Team Lead Must Be Able To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Researchers, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners. Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Understanding Of Obesity And Related Therapies: The Clinical Study Team Lead Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Obesity And Its Underlying Causes, As Well As Current And Emerging Therapies For This Condition. This Knowledge Will Be Critical In Designing And Executing Successful Clinical Trials For Potential New Treatments.
