  1. Oversee and lead all research efforts related to obesity within the Internal Medicine Research Unit.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for conducting successful clinical trials in the field of obesity.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute clinical studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Pfizer's standards.
  4. Provide leadership and direction to the research team, including setting goals, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  5. Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in the field of obesity research, and incorporate them into Pfizer's research strategy.
  6. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the research team.
  7. Represent Pfizer at external events and conferences, and establish relationships with key opinion leaders in the field.
  8. Communicate research findings and insights to senior management and other stakeholders, and make recommendations for future research directions.
  9. Act as a subject matter expert on obesity, both internally within Pfizer and externally with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in conducting clinical trials.
  11. Mentor and develop junior research staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
  12. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and medical affairs, to develop and execute strategies for bringing new obesity treatments to market.
  13. Proactively identify potential risks and issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all research activities, and ensure data integrity and quality control.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Internal Medicine Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research, Specifically In Obesity And Metabolic Disorders

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Clinical Trials And Research Projects

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Guidelines For Conducting Clinical Trials

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
