- Develop and implement category strategies that align with Pfizer's overall business objectives and drive growth in the commercial business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to identify and understand business needs and inform category strategy.
- Utilize market research and insights to identify opportunities and risks within the pharmaceutical industry and adjust category strategies accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure effective communication and alignment of category strategies.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform decision-making and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Proactively identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the category management function.
- Lead and participate in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable contracts and pricing for Pfizer.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure continuous improvement and drive value for Pfizer.
- Create and deliver presentations to senior leadership to communicate category strategies and provide updates on performance and results.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in category management practices to drive innovation and improve business outcomes.
- Mentor and train junior category management team members to develop their skills and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Adhere to all relevant compliance and regulatory guidelines in all category management activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Category Management, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry
Strong Analytical Skills And Experience In Data Analysis And Interpretation
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders
Knowledge Of Market Trends, Competitive Landscape, And Industry Regulations Related To Pharmaceutical Products And Categories.
