As an SPC Checker, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products through statistical process control (SPC) checks.   1. Perform regular statistical process control (SPC) checks to monitor the quality and safety of our poultry products.
  2. Utilize analytical skills to interpret SPC data and identify any variations or abnormalities in the production process.
  3. Communicate any issues or concerns to management and work collaboratively to address and resolve them.
  4. Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, equipment, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
  5. Adhere to all food safety protocols and procedures to maintain the highest level of product quality and safety.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all SPC checks and results.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions to prevent quality issues.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry and regulatory standards and make recommendations for updates or changes to existing processes.
  9. Follow company policies and procedures to promote animal welfare and environmental sustainability.
  10. Continuously strive to meet and exceed company goals for product quality, safety, and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations: A Spc Checker At Perdue Farms Should Be Familiar With Food Safety Regulations, Such As Haccp And Gmp, To Ensure That All Products Meet Quality Standards.

  • Attention To Detail: The Spc Checker Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Accurately Monitor And Record Production Data, Identify Any Quality Issues, And Make Necessary Adjustments.

  • Quality Control Experience: Previous Experience In Quality Control, Preferably In A Food Production Environment, Is Required For This Role. The Spc Checker Must Be Able To Conduct Quality Checks And Inspections To Ensure Product Specifications Are Met.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Part Of Their Job, The Spc Checker Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Production Data And Identifying Any Trends Or Issues. Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Communication And Teamwork: The Spc Checker Will Work Closely With Production Teams And Other Quality Control Personnel. Effective Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Crucial For Maintaining A Smooth Production Process And Ensuring Quality Standards Are Met.
