At Perdue Farms, we are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Sensory Scientist to join our team. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in food science, sensory science, or a related field, as well as experience in the food industry.This role will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing sensory programs and initiatives to ensure our products are of the highest quality. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about sensory science and is motivated to create meaningful and impactful results. Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and execute sensory programs and initiatives to ensure the highest quality of products.
Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and implement solutions to drive success.
Monitor and analyze sensory data to identify trends and make recommendations.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure quality standards are met.
Assist in the development of new products and technologies.
Identify and address consumer feedback and complaints.
Develop and deliver sensory training and education materials.
Support and participate in research studies and trials as needed.
Remain up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
