- Lead and support research and development projects to improve and evolve products and processes at Perdue Farms.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for product development.
- Conduct extensive research using various methodologies to develop new products and improve existing ones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and quality control to ensure successful execution of projects.
- Analyze data and provide insights to inform decision making for product development.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Continuously evaluate and improve R&D processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay informed of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all R&D activities.
- Communicate project updates and results to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Mentor and train junior team members on research methodologies and product development processes.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as suppliers and research institutions, to enhance R&D capabilities.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the R&D process.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all R&D activities.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies and techniques in the food industry and make recommendations for their implementation in R&D projects.
- Uphold Perdue Farms' values and standards of excellence in all R&D activities.
Bachelor's Degree In A Scientific Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Food Science.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Research And Development, Preferably In The Food Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Food Safety Regulations And Quality Assurance Processes.
Proficient In Data Analysis And Experimental Design.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
