- Safely and efficiently deliver refined oils to various production facilities.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating a company vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery truck to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Communicate effectively with production facility staff to coordinate delivery times and locations.
- Monitor and record inventory levels of refined oils to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding delivery routes, vehicle maintenance, or product quality to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and customer service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs and records.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Perdue Farms, upholding our high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely delivery of refined oils.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): A Valid Cdl Is A Must-Have Qualification For A Refined Oil Driver At Perdue Farms. This License Ensures That The Driver Has Undergone Proper Training And Is Legally Allowed To Operate Large Commercial Vehicles.
Experience In Fuel Delivery: Prior Experience In Delivering Refined Oil Or Other Fuel Products Is Highly Desirable For This Job. It Shows That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Safety Protocols And Procedures Involved In Handling And Transporting Hazardous Materials.
Knowledge Of Dot Regulations: A Thorough Understanding Of The Department Of Transportation (Dot) Regulations Is Crucial For A Refined Oil Driver. This Includes Knowledge Of Hours Of Service, Vehicle Maintenance, And Safe Driving Practices.
