Lead and supervise a team of production associates to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
Train and develop production associates to maintain a high level of skill and competence.
Monitor and maintain production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Investigate and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet company standards.
Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
Communicate production updates and issues to upper management.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for all production associates.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for production associates.
Maintain production records and reports for management review.
Troubleshoot equipment and machinery issues and coordinate with maintenance team for repairs.
Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to improve production processes.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.

Job Qualifications

Prior Experience In A Production Environment: A Production Associate Lead At Perdue Farms Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Production Facility, With A Good Understanding Of Production Processes And Procedures.
Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead A Team Of Production Associates And Ensure That They Are Working Efficiently And Effectively. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven Leadership Skills And Be Able To Motivate And Guide Team Members.
Knowledge Of Safety And Quality Standards: Perdue Farms Has Strict Safety And Quality Standards In Place, And The Production Associate Lead Should Have A Good Understanding Of These Standards And Be Able To Ensure That They Are Adhered To At All Times.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Leader, The Production Associate Lead Will Need To Communicate With Team Members, Supervisors, And Other Departments Within The Company. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Flexibility And Adaptability: The Production Environment Can Be Fast-Paced And Dynamic, With Changes And Challenges Arising On A Daily Basis. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Adapt To These Changes And Be Flexible In Their Approach To Problem-Solving.
