Job Description

  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all equipment and facilities.
  2. Create detailed work plans and schedules for maintenance activities, taking into account equipment availability, resources, and deadlines.
  3. Collaborate with maintenance technicians and other team members to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
  4. Review maintenance requests and determine the appropriate course of action, whether it be preventative maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
  5. Monitor and track maintenance work, ensuring tasks are completed within designated timelines.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory.
  7. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to order necessary parts and materials for maintenance tasks.
  8. Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance tasks that minimize downtime and disruptions.
  9. Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
  11. Train and mentor new maintenance planning and scheduling team members.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance planning and scheduling techniques.
  13. Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to ensure maintenance activities align with overall company goals.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by fostering open communication and teamwork.
