- Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess food safety practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Train and educate employees on proper food safety protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of food safety programs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to food safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure food safety requirements are met in all areas of the organization.
- Lead investigations into any food safety incidents or concerns and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all food safety activities and documentation.
- Manage and oversee the work of food safety team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate food safety updates and changes to relevant stakeholders, including senior management.
- Serve as a point of contact for all food safety related inquiries and concerns from internal and external parties.
- Continuously assess and improve the food safety culture within the organization.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the safety of all incoming ingredients and materials.
- Participate in regulatory inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a crisis management plan for food safety emergencies.
Bachelor's Degree In Food Science, Microbiology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Food Safety And Quality Assurance Management.
Strong Knowledge Of Fda And Usda Regulations And Food Safety Standards.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Food Safety Programs, Policies, And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Manage A Team.
