- Develop and implement food safety and quality control procedures in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee all aspects of food safety and quality in the distribution center, including incoming product inspections, storage, and shipping procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any potential food safety or quality issues.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify patterns and trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all food safety and quality initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented.
- Train and educate employees on food safety and quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in regulations related to food safety and quality.
- Manage and maintain all necessary documentation and records related to food safety and quality.
- Investigate and respond to any customer complaints or product recalls related to food safety or quality.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in food safety and quality practices.
Bachelor's Degree In Food Science, Microbiology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Food Safety And Quality Management, Preferably In A Distribution Center Or Warehouse Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Fda And Usda Regulations And Guidelines, As Well As Haccp Principles.
Experience With Implementing And Maintaining Food Safety And Quality Programs, Such As Sqf, Brc, Or Iso 22000.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Develop A Team And Work Collaboratively With Other Departments.
