We are currently seeking a Part Time Transport Driver (Tractor Trailer - Over the Road) with a CDL A to join our team during our busy seasonal period. In this role, you will play a critical part in getting our products to their final destinations in a safe and timely manner.   1. Safely operate a tractor trailer to transport PepsiCo products to various destinations.
  2. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
  3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  4. Load and unload products in a safe and efficient manner.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records.
  6. Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  7. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
  8. Report any vehicle malfunctions or issues to the appropriate parties.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized truck to represent PepsiCo in a professional manner.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to sustainability.
  11. Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  13. Keep up-to-date with all relevant regulations and laws related to driving and transportation.
  14. Attend and complete all required training and certifications.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Cdl A License: A Transport Driver For Pepsico Must Possess A Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With An A Endorsement, Allowing Them To Operate Tractor-Trailer Vehicles.

  • Safe Driving Record: As A Transport Driver, It Is Essential To Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Violations Or Accidents. This Ensures The Safety Of The Driver, Other Motorists, And The Goods Being Transported.

  • Experience With Tractor-Trailer Vehicles: Pepsico Requires At Least 2 Years Of Experience Driving Tractor-Trailer Vehicles To Ensure The Driver Is Familiar With The Operation And Handling Of These Large Vehicles.

  • Availability For Evening Shifts: This Part-Time Position Specifically Requires Availability For Evening Shifts, As The Driver Will Be Responsible For Delivering Products To Various Locations During Those Hours.

  • Seasonal Flexibility: This Position Is Advertised As Seasonal, Which Means The Driver Must Be Willing To Work During Peak Seasons And Potentially Have A More Flexible Schedule During Slower Periods. This May Include Longer Shifts Or Weekends, Depending On The Demand For Deliveries.
