PepsiCo is looking for a motivated and organized Tax Analyst to join our Finance team. We are looking for someone who has the ability to analyze, interpret, and report on complex tax information to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax obligations. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to accuracy. The Tax Analyst will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness of tax payments, and performing research to resolve tax-related issues.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, as well as at least two years of experience in tax analysis or a related field. Additionally, you should have knowledge of the principles and practices of taxation, as well as proficiency with MS Office Suite and tax software. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of tax payments.
- Perform research to resolve tax-related issues.
- Monitor tax laws and regulations for changes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law and practices.
- Provide tax advice and support to the Finance team.
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls for tax compliance.
- Maintain complete and organized records of tax information.
- Analyze and interpret complex tax information.
- Prepare and present reports to management.
- Respond to inquiries from external parties regarding taxes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate tax information is being used.
- Monitor and audit tax compliance of third-party vendors.
- Prepare and submit tax forms in a timely manner.
