As a State Government Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing PepsiCo's state government affairs strategy to support our business goals and objectives.   1. Develop and execute PepsiCo's state government affairs strategy to support business goals and objectives.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at the state level, including government officials, industry associations, and community leaders.
  3. Monitor state legislative and regulatory activity and identify potential opportunities and risks for the company.
  4. Advocate for PepsiCo's brand and products at the state level and communicate the company's position on key issues to stakeholders and decision-makers.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align government affairs efforts with business objectives.
  6. Communicate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, on the status of state government affairs initiatives and potential impacts on the business.
  7. Conduct research and analysis on political dynamics and processes at the state level to inform strategy and decision-making.
  8. Represent PepsiCo at industry events and conferences related to state government affairs.
  9. Develop and manage relationships with external consultants and lobbyists to support state government affairs initiatives.
  10. Stay informed on relevant laws and regulations and provide guidance to the company on compliance and potential advocacy opportunities.
  11. Proactively identify and address potential issues that may impact PepsiCo's business at the state level.
  12. Monitor and report on state government affairs activities and results to senior management.
  13. Collaborate with other members of the Government Affairs team to align state-level initiatives with federal and local government affairs efforts.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of PepsiCo's state government affairs strategy.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Political Science, Public Policy, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Government Affairs, Lobbying, Or Related Field

  • Strong Understanding Of State Legislative Processes And Ability To Navigate Complex Regulatory Environments

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Government Officials And Stakeholders

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Influencing Government Policy And Advocating For Business Interests At The State Level.
